JOB DESCRIPTION:

IGrow Wealth Investments, South Africa’s #1 Property Investment Group, is looking for a Group Finance Manager to join their team in Cape Town.

To qualify for this opportunity, you need:

CA(SA) – non negotiable, registered with SAICA
3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
Advanced Excel skills
Ability to multitask
Attention to detail
Strong leadership skills
Strong ability to solve problems
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
CaseWare & Xero knowledge
Self starter
Able to perform under pressure
Time management

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

Ensure proper functioning of the financial/accounting team
On-the-job training to members of the team as and when necessary
Ensure accurate and complete financial record-keeping
Review of expenses and identifying/implementing cost-saving strategies across the group
Identifying opportunities for increasing revenue
Review and approve weekly payments
Preparation of financial applications
Tax compliance of all group companies, including reviewing of all tax returns
Preparing/reviewing monthly management accounts
Preparing/reviewing detailed cash flow projections on a weekly basis
Preparation of annual financial statements according to IFRS for SME’s
Budget and cash flow management
Interpretation and feedback on the reported monthly/quarterly/half-yearly and annual results
Review audit files and documents prepared by the finance team for external auditors
Review payroll and related functions
Cash management of all group companies
Manage bank accounts and banking relationships of the group
Any other output that may be reasonably required from this role
