POSITION INFO:
My client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Group Accountant (CA(SA)) to join our growing organization based in Durban South. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong technical accounting expertise and experience in group reporting with future growth prospects into a financial manager.
Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of group consolidations for multiple branches
• Preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant IFRS and statutory requirements
• Preparation and submission of income tax returns
• Liaising with auditors, tax consultants, and other stakeholders
• Providing technical accounting support across the group

• Qualified CA(SA)
• 1-3 years of commercial exposure as a group accountant
• Strong knowledge and practical application of IFRS
• Proven experience with group consolidations and financial reporting
• Solid understanding of income tax and related compliance
• High level of accuracy, analytical ability, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
