Duties:

• Support the CFO in maintaining robust financial management, controls, and continuous process improvements.
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to guide strategic decision-making at the executive level.
• Generate quarterly reports for the Board and Audit & Risk Committee, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor adherence to IFRS and lead initiatives to enhance accounting policies, controls, and compliance across the organisation.
• Drive digitisation of reporting and forecasting tools, streamlining labour-intensive processes and supporting the company’s digital transformation.
• Oversee the consolidated credit control function, providing leadership and ensuring alignment with organisational policies.
• Review capital investment proposals, including IRR calculations, and provide financial guidance to support business strategy and ad hoc CFO requirements.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Undergraduate Degree accounting qualification
• Postgraduate accounting qualification, e.g., CA(SA)

• Minimum of a university degree in Finance with relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Professional accounting designation such as CA(SA) or CMA is preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant finance experience, including exposure to managerial or senior-level responsibilities.

• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in preparing accurate, well-structured report.
• Highly analytical and methodical, with a logical approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
