Our client, an international leader in specialized materials manufacturing, seeks to employ a tenacious, well qualified and suitably experienced BEE candidate for their head office in Cape Town.

This role is at a senior management level, reporting directly to the Managing Director for Africa and requires a candidate who can work under extreme pressure, who has natural strategic leadership, has a proven track record in operational efficiency management and commercial/due diligence management for the South African division.

You will have a degree in Financial Management/Accounting and preferably registered as CA or CIMA, coupled with 10 plus years in managing finches and commercial administration within a multinational manufacturing group.
You will have a proven track record in driving business improvements throughout the organization, as well as provide financial leadership to maximize shareholder value and ensure financial integrity of management information, statutory reporting and internal controls are in place to deliver functional process management and profitability
You must have strong technical finance/accounting knowledge and practical experience (IAF, IFRS, etc), international reporting experience and working experience in managing IT, Payroll, import/export processes and strong knowledge of Taxation for the group.
Experience in mergers/acquisitions, disposals and board presentations is essential
