POSITION INFO:

Review of statutory financial statements

Responsible for the management of the Financial Accounting team across the Group

Assist in producing timely, efficient, and accurate month-end close and all statutory reporting for month-end and year end

Accountable for accurate and timely capturing of Accounts receivable and Accounts payable in all entities

Active involvement in improvement projects and system implementations

Ensure compliance with internal control policies

Manage accounting payroll activities within every entity

Assist with financial audit of the groups consolidated financials, statutory accounting practices and regulations relevant to all entities

Manage the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation

Responsible to ensure that all tax compliance is adhered to in all regions

Reviewing of all intercompany accounts balance monthly and at year end

Responsible for maintaining and applying policies, procedures, and strategy for cashflow management

Analyse the effect of statutory accounting practices and guidance to ensure correct application of IFRS

Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices

Management of Fixed Assets, leases, and other contracts

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 3 – 5 years commercial experience

Team Management experience

Strong Technical Skills

Extensive statutory reporting experience

Qualification:

SAICA Articles non-negotiable

CA(SA) / AGA(SA) / ACCA
