Group Financial Manager

SUMMARY:
The ideal opportunity for a young recently qualified CA with at least 2 years' similar experience in a commercial organisation.  SAP and advanced MS Excel is essential.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with minimum 2years experience in a similar role.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills is essential;
• Working knowledge and experience with SAP
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial and tax practices;
• Deadline driven with ability to work well under pressure;
• A high level of administrative skills and attention to detail;
• An analytical and methodical approach to their work;
• Organizational and leadership skills;
• Sound interpersonal and communication skills.

• Gathering and analyzing financial information for internal use
• Compilation and analysis of Monthly Management account reports
• Preparation of annual financial statements
• Project management of statutory audit for all companies in the group
• Complete oversight and compilation of annual budgets
• Assistance in gathering information in all statutory tax matters
• Review of key monthly reconciliations
• Review of all finance leases
• Review of monthly turnover reports and graphs
• Assume responsibility of accounting procedures
• Evaluate the company’s performance using key data
• Make forecasts to assist business planning and decision-making
• Advise on problems and suggest improvements
• Supervise accounts managers and lower-level personnel
