An international retail/ construction/ manufacturing company is looking for a Group Financial Manager to join their team at their head office in the East Rand (Johannesburg). If you are a CA(SA) with 3 years’ management experience, then I have an opportunity that will make you prosper. Reporting to the CFO you will get the opportunity to work with international subsidiaries and implement systems and procedures which are innovative according to your standards.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Budgeting
Forecasting
Present financial results to EXCO
Financial reporting
Assess financial performance

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

Matric
BCom Accounting or equivalent
BCom Accounting Honours/CTA
Qualified CA(SA) or studying towards or completed CIMA

Experience:

Completed 3 years of articles
Exposure within the construction or manufacturing industries
NB: Knowledge of construction or mining equipment
Implementation of systems and controls

Skills & Competencies:

Knowledge of ERP systems
Knowledge of IFRS 9, 16 and 18 preferable
Analytical thinker
Diligence
Getting your “hands dirty” is not an issue to you
