SUMMARY:
Chartered Accountant CA(SA) wanted to fill a Group Financial Manager role within one of South Africa's leading Financial Services & Insurance concerns (EE/AA) * Please note that this role will not manage any direct reports.

Our client is one of South Africa’s most reputable Financial Service & Insurance entities. They are looking for a highly proficient Chartered Accountant CA(SA) to fill the role of Group Financial Manager. The successful candidate must have Technical Accounting, Staturory Reporting and/or Group Reporting experience within the Financial Services, Insurance or similar sector and must have a stable work history.

Duties:

• Monthly Reporting
• Consolidated Annual Financial Statements
• Consolidated Management Reports
• Budgets & Forecasts
• Actual vs Budget
• Cash Flow Management
• Financial & Performance Analysis
• Risk Management
• Assistance with Accounting Queries
• IFRS Compliance
• Vat & Tax
• Adherence to JSE-Listing Requirements
• Technical Accounting Queries
• Audit Reviews

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified CA(SA) registered with SAICA
• Min 3-5 years’ post article experience within the Financial Services or Insurance sector
• Group reporting and complex consolidations experience within a large, multinational or listed entity will be preferred
• Must have a stable work history
• IFRS 17 experience highly advantageous

Computer & Software Skills:

• Advanced MS Excel knowledge
• Hyperion, SAP, Hyperion (HFM) or similar experience advantageous
