POSITION INFO:

A diversified financial services organisation providing a broad solutions to both corporate clients and individual customers to create, grow and protect their wealth and assets, helping them secure a lifetime of financial well-being and security is looking for a Group Financial Manager - Statutory Reporting CA(SA).

The successful Group Financial Manager CA(SA) will be responsible for:

• Management of the consolidated financial reporting of the Group Holdings
• All JSE financial reporting requirements, in addition to the preparation of all financial statements within the group
• Reporting to the Head of statutory reporting, the incumbent will be responsible for the management of the consolidated financial reporting of the Group
• Manage the consolidation process and ensure integrity of reported amounts in the preparation of the listed financial statements.
• Manage and co-ordinate the group audit process.
• Define and maintain the group pack and related reporting schedules for quarterly consolidation and analysis.
• Manage improvements and maintenance of the group reporting electronic pack (BPC).
• Oversee the group’s balance sheet substantiation process and provide exception reports to management.
• Manage all new IFRS reporting standard changes through all financial statements within the group.
• Monitor and track JSE Proactive Monitoring on review of financial statements
• Responsible for the group balance sheet and ensuring that adequate substantiation is performed for divisional balances.
• Preparation and review of results announcement and analyst presentations.
• Preparation and review of quarterly CFO report.

Qualifications:

• CA(SA)

Experience:

• 5 -10 years post article experience within the financial services sector with listed company experience
• Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards, Companies Act, JSE listing requirements, financial modelling and valuation techniques.
• Understanding of regulatory reporting
• Must have managment experience
