A well-established South-African based conglomerate with a diverse range of subsidiaries seeks an experienced and innovative Group Financial Manager to join their business on an Executive Level. This role will be based in Johannesburg North. *Please note that currently staff are working from home, a stable internet connection and professional setup at home is required.

A well-established South-African based conglomerate with a diverse range of subsidiaries seeks an experienced and innovative Group Financial Manager to join their business on an Executive Level. This role will be based in Johannesburg North.

*Please note that currently staff are working from home, a stable internet connection and professional setup at home is required.

In this role, you will be responsible for the full financial management function of the group, operating on an executive level.

Duties will include but not limited to:

Preparing and analyzing financial statements

Gathering, processing and reporting of financial data

Oversee treasury and manage cashflows

Budgets and forecasts

Managed shared services for AP, AR and Payroll

Group tax planning, reporting and payments

Operational and financial performance and report on results

Lead external audits and compliance functions

Risk management

Support group growth and continued operations by evaluating, optimizing and maintaining capital structures, funding and liquidity

Education:

BCom Hons in Accounting / Finance with Articles non-negotiable OR

CA(SA) / ACCA qualified

Skills & Experience:

Completed SAICA articles

12 to 15 years'' experience in a financial management role

6 to 7 years'' experience within a diversified group

Fundraising / capital structure management experience is essential

Strong analytic skills

Strong personality non-negotiable

Good people management skills

Strong computer literacy

Financial and business acumen

Strong personality

Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment

Team player
