JOB SUMMARY:
Group Financial Manager - Multiple Group Entities

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualified CA(SA)
Minimum 5 to 10 years’ experience post
A self-starter with the ability to clearly articulate issues, challenges and approach to resolution
Must possess a strong analytical capacity
Previous experience in a Group Finance Manager or Group Financial Controller role within multiple entities

Strengthening control framework
Undertake both month end and year end duties
Preparation of monthly and quarterly accounts across multiple group entities
Lead the annual internal and external audit process
Liaising closely with FC’s in subsidiary businesses, maintaining positive relationships
Compiling monthly reports
Responsible for the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Responsible for the preparation of cashflow forecasts and associated treasury duties
Developing and standardising processes and controls
Preparation of ancillary reports to support management accounts
Preparation of group corporation tax
Preparation of group annual accounts and management of the internal and external audit
Communicate and explain accounting issues and evolving accounting guidance to Senior Management.
Representation at business team meetings, support and challenge throughout the business
Develop, implement and maintain the internal audit programme to ensure the company complies with financial procedures and regulations
Statutory Accounts Production for the group of companies
Maintain up to date knowledge of any financial legislative changes
Deliver improved financial processes and controls
Perform consolidations
Preparation of Board Packs and Exco Packs
Stand in as a 2^nd In Charge in the absence of the CFO
Oversee and direct the Cost Accountant
Ensure both statutory and regulatory compliance is up to date for all entities (Vat, PAYE, BEE, CIPC, DSD, DoH, DoE etc.)
Preparing and reviewing financial statements and supporting them with well-developed analytical reviews at Group and subsidiary level, Management Reporting, budgeting, prepare financial reports for Board Meetings and Perform Financial analysis
