Duties:

• Prepare and consolidate financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls. Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
• Analyse financial data and provide insights on business performance and trends. Prepare management reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts for the group, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and eliminate intercompany transactions during consolidation.
• Collaborate with the tax department to ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax planning and reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial reporting and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on financial matters.
• Utilise financial software and tools to manage and report on financial data. Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of financial systems.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Accounting / Finance
• BCom Honours
• CA(SA)

• Completed SAICA Articles
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably within a group or corporate environment.
• Experience in a multinational organisation is beneficial.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS or GAAP.
• Proficiency in financial software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex financial data.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical behaviour and integrity in financial reporting.
