JOB SUMMARY:
An Exciting role for a professional HR Manager with extensive experience in Building/Construction is being offered to a large National Company in the Western Cape.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The group has offices and manufacturing plants in Gauteng and Cape Town, with and additional storage facility and office in KZN. The role of the new HR manager will be to align the overall group HR policies and work closely with senior management to ensure that the group strategic objectives are achieved. Our position in the marketplace requires HR to be hands on, travel to each of these facilities will be required. Based on the logistical placement Cape Town will be the base for the new incumbent.

Prime Responsibilities:

Implement and improve HR processes and policies.

Hiring staff and negotiating employment agreements.

Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

Supporting strategic objectives of the organization.

Implement strategies that support business growth.

Improve morale and employee retention.

Promote the organization values.

Managing Staff wellness and performance reviews.

Handling employee benefits.

Motivating and supporting current staff.

Identifying staff needs and creating job descriptions.

Succession Planning.

Industrial Relations.

Disciplinary & Grievances.

Training and Development.

BEE compliance.

Employment Equity alignment.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management.

8-10 years experience within the Building/Construction industry of Business in a similar role.
