A leading property management company is seeking a Group Human Resource Manager to lead and drive the HR function across a large, multi-site workforce based in Johannesburg North (Centurion / Sandton).

This is a strategic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to oversee HR operations, talent management, compliance, and organisational development across a workforce of 500+ employees.

POSITION INFO:
About the Role
As Group HR Manager, you will be responsible for leading the full human resources function across the group, excluding payroll (managed by Finance).
You will partner with leadership to drive HR strategy, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance in a fast-paced property and hospitality-influenced environment.

• Develop and implement group HR strategy aligned to business objectives
• Partner with EXCO and senior leadership on organisational development and workforce planning
• Drive a high-performance culture across multiple sites

• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies
• Manage employee relations, disciplinary processes, and performance management
• Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives

• Ensure compliance with Labour Relations Act, BCEA, Employment Equity, and HR policies
• Support BEE and transformation initiatives aligned to workforce profile
• Maintain HR governance and best practice standards

• Support leadership development and succession planning
• Identify skills gaps and support training initiatives
• Align HR practices with operational and business needs

• Oversee HR systems, reporting, and data integrity
• Work closely with Finance on payroll-related inputs (SAGE experience advantageous)
• Ensure efficient HR processes across all regions

• Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or related field
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in HR, including senior or group-level exposure
• Experience managing HR across a large workforce (500+ employees)
• Property, facilities management, or hospitality experience (advantageous)
• Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation
• Experience with HR systems (SAGE payroll exposure advantageous)
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience
