Group IT Manager

SUMMARY:
Luxury Hospitality Group with offices based in Dar es Salaam and Arusha is looking for a Group IT Manager.
 
As the Group IT Manager you will lead the strategy, infrastructure and security of technology across multiple business units or locations, ensuring operational stability and digital transformation.
 
Responsibilities include developing IT policies, managing budgets, overseeing team performance, ensuring system uptime, and managing vendors. They bridge technical operations with strategic company goals.
 
Frequent travel between properties required.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Strategy & Governance: Define Group-wide IT standards, SOPs, and policies. Develop long-term IT strategies and technology roadmaps.
Infrastructure & Security: Oversee servers, networks, and end-user devices across all sites. Strengthen cybersecurity and conduct risk assessments.
System Management: Ensure uptime and performance of core systems (e.g., ERP, SAP).
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and train IT staff, driving, and fostering a culture of innovation.
Budgeting & Vendor Management: Manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor contracts.
Performance Reporting: Produce, and analyse IT performance reports, ensuring, and enhancing service quality.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 7+ years in IT
Expert in ORACLE & PMS (Opera/Prologic) and remote connectivity (Starlink/Satellite)
Cybersecurity for guest data and centralized server management skills
Proficiency in network management, cloud solutions, and system administration.
Strong leadership, project management, and, communication skills.
