POSITION INFO:

Consolidate monthly financial reports from various business units
Review and investigate discrepancies in submitted data
Compile detailed variance commentary
Finalise reports for internal management distribution
Prepare the consolidated trial balance and draft financial result announcements
Produce segmental reporting and perform impairment testing and option valuations
Handle financial statement notes including share schemes, related parties, and capital expenditure breakdowns
Reconcile treasury shares and calculate earnings per share metrics
Collate and consolidate bi-annual budget inputs from all brands
Investigate variances and ensure consistency across submissions
Prepare a three-year financial projection and budget report
Draft IFRS-compliant annual financial statements for subsidiaries
Liaise with auditors and directors to ensure timely sign-off
Review month-end reconciliations for head office accounts
Approve miscellaneous payments
Provide general financial support as needed within the group

Skills & Experience:
CA(SA)
3 years post post-article experience required
Experience in consolidations and group company settings
Group reporting exposure
Preperation of Financial Statements
