Our client is a respected leader in the design and manufacture of advanced engineering solutions for a range of industries across Southern Africa and beyond. They are known for innovation, precision, and their commitment to quality.
They are seeking a Group Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial management, reporting, and strategic analysis across multiple business units — supporting the Group Financial Manager in driving operational and financial excellence.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare consolidated management accounts, financial reports, and forecasts for multiple entities within the group.
Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
Maintain and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
Oversee budgets and forecasts, assisting business units with financial planning.
Conduct cost and margin analysis to support pricing, production, and strategic decisions.
Manage cash flow reporting and assist in liquidity planning across the group.
Liaise with auditors and support audit preparation and compliance.
Collaborate with management and operations to ensure sound financial controls and efficient reporting.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Completed SAIPA / SAICA articles or equivalent accounting qualification.
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar management accounting role, preferably within manufacturing or engineering.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (Syspro experience advantageous).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
