SUMMARY:
Group Management Accountant Our client operating within the Engineering and Manufacturing Sector is seeking to appoint a methodical, proactive, intelligent, and energetic Group Management Accountant. Location: Northern Suburbs

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting.
3-5 years ‘experience in a similar role.
Attention to detail is highly important for this role.
Ability to multi-task and work with inputs from various sources.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Sound computer skills (MS Office Excel).

Duties:

Treasury:

Prepare Annual Audit File
Cashflow management
Monitor and control all foreign exchange contracts.
Inter-Company loan administration and interest calculation.
Responsible for the calculation and submission of VAT
Attend to all insurance claims.
Prepare annual budget for submission to Group Financial manager

Payroll:

Reporting
Maintenance and integrity of payroll system.
Monitoring sign-off’s of deductions.
Complete salary and wages journal – full recon of loans, savings, and control account from the VIP import.

Costing:

Recalculate and maintain bill of materials overhead costs on Syspro.
Costing updates on all TS products.
Assist with administration & reconciliation of annual and interim stock takes.
Manage concession claim process.
Analyse scrap sales reports.

Contracts:

Informant of terms and conditions per lease agreements / SLA contracts
Liaising with landlords regarding maintenance of properties
Negotiating terms and conditions of new lease agreements
Renewal of annual software licensing.

Reporting:

Compilation ad-hoc reports
Reports’ variances to Group Financial Manager

General:

Any other relevant task / assignment as given by management.
