SUMMARY:
Purpose of the Role:

The successful candidate will be accountable for the design, implementation, optimal functioning, and oversight over the organization's pay structures, bonus/incentive schemes, payroll seamless runs, and employee benefits programs.
Ensuring that these programs are competitive to attract talent, align with business goals, motivate employees, complying with applicable labour laws and income tax regulations. Involved in payroll, benchmarking, and policy development.
Procuring and managing effective Human Capital Management information systems, policies, and processes, whilst ensuring proper governance.

Position: Group Manager: Total Rewards and Benefits
Industry: Mining Industry.
Location: Midrand - Gauteng
Salary: Market related.

Qualifications and Experience:

Relevant Bachelor or BCom degree in Human Resources Management / Equivalent.
Post-graduate qualification will be an added advantage.
10 Years working in a Payroll; Remuneration and Benefits environment.
5 Years in Mining or Chemical related industry.
5 Years Management experience.
Strong computer literacy, together with a credible ERP system.
Experience and knowledge of BCEA, Income Tax Act, COIDA, UIF, WCA, COIDA and their application to personnel matters.
Experience and knowledge and practice of the Pension Fund Act and its application.
Experience in, and application of the Medical Schemes Act.
Experience and knowledge and administration of long-term and short-term incentive schemes.
Experience in managing the executive’s remuneration, rewards, and related aspects.
