SUMMARY:
Company in the IT/Telecommunications Sector based in Sandton Area is looking for a Group Project Manager with experience in multiple construction/project management to join their dynamic team

POSITION INFO:
Purpose:
To oversee all applicable business units to ensure all projects are managed as required

Skills and Specifications:

Should have good oral and written communication
Ability to efficiently lead, delegate and motivate
Strong interpersonal, negotiation skills and the ability to network with Clients, suppliers, and
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Project management Software
Experienced in working in an ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems environment
Experienced in working in an Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, environment

Duties:

Manage all projects within all business units in the below manner
- Leading the planning and implementation of
- Defining a project’s scope and
- Planning and scheduling project
- Coordinating project
- Resource planning and
- Quality
- Carrying out risk
- Managing project administration, including all
- Meeting budgetary
- Reporting regularly to management.
- Managing client
- Tracking project
- Project evaluations and results
Meeting on a regular basis with project teams of each project to ensure that all objectives, time frames, are being met and if any issues arise to report it to management
Bring all projects within the business units to management to set priorities or get priorities set according to executives’ requirements
Provide weekly reporting to management on all projects within each business unit
Create and ensure all documentation is signed off at each milestone and project completion
