Are you a Group Reporting Accountant CA(SA) looking for new opportunities?

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Salix Recruitment has a huge focus on placing candidates in the insurance and financial sector and constantly looking to CA(SA)’s that have an interest in such roles. The purpose of these roles will include IFRS 17 Implementation, Group Reporting, Financial Statements and Consolidations.

Are you a CA(SA) and like your technical roles, reach out to

Duties:

Preparing monthly management reporting
Assist in preparing annual Group budget
Support IFRS 17 implementation for management reporting
Review of and support for technical working papers that serve as input to the annual financial statements and integrated report
IFRS 17 implementation (including system specifications and testing, transition disclosures, assessing impact on other areas such as capital risk management disclosures, etc.)
General IFRS technical support to the rest of the Sanlam Group, including training sessions (group and/or individual)

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric
BCom/BCom Honours
Qualified CA(SA)

Experience:

Completed Articles
2/4 Post Articles in a Technical Accounting Role
Exposure to IFRS 17
Insurance or Financial Service experience will be beneficial
