A reputable Cape Town based company is looking for a group reporting and compliance officer. This person will be responsible for ensuring that protocol uniformity, policy, procedure, and laws and regulations are adhered to on a day-to-day basis.

POSITION INFO:

Prepare, report and give feedback to shareholders on monthly financial accounts and results

Plan and coordinate the annual external audit of Annual Financial Statements

Make sure that the company complies with tax by monitoring profiles monthly and assisting relevant parties

Ensuring SA Companies Act and other statutory requirements are complied with

Manage the financial and ERP systems

Complete internal financial audits and prepare formal feedback on the audits

Assisting with external compliance of company information

Providing training to the finance team on ERP and new developments

Skills & Experience:

Post-article experience (1-2 years)

Excellent communicative skills on an executive level

Advanced knowledge of financial accounting systems

Advanced knowledge of MS Office

Knowledge of SA Taxes, as well as SA Companies Act and relevant legislation

Knowledge of IFRS Accounting Framework

Qualification:

CA(SA) or CIMA qualifications are essential
