Group Reporting Manager (CA(SA))

A South African eCommerce leader is looking for a Group Reporting Manager to join their team in Cape Town.

Responsibilities will include:

• This role will report to the Head of Group Finance
• Completion of the Group Management Accounts monthly and communicate financial results to management as required
• Completion of all Reporting to Shareholders monthly including Fraud, Sustainability, BBBEE, Internal Control and Governance
• Implement processes and automated reports to improve the reporting function of the business
• Assist the Finance teams with the year end audit and internal audit where required
• Prepare the Annual Financial Statements for the Group and all Group companies
• Take full control of the BBBEE reporting for the Group and the Sustainability reporting for the Group
• Assist with the year-end budgeting process and manage teams to ensure that they prepare timely and accurate annual forecasts and budgets
• Provide support and guidance to members from the leadership teams in respect of forecasts and budgets and submit monthly rolling forecasts to Group
• Ensuring the fiscal function of the company is in accordance with the applicable financial reporting framework by adhering the IFRS reporting responsibilities and other regulatory organisations including Corporate Governance rules (King IV)
• Assist with any adhoc reports or requests

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified CA (SA)
• Min 5 years’ experience within the field (including 2 years post Articles)
• Strong technical knowledge
• Strong knowledge of SAGE Evolution
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Cognos TM1 preferred
• Technically strong with all aspects of IFRS
• Able to meet tight deadlines
• Strong general financial background with proven skills in Financial Accounting, Budgeting and Reporting, Treasury and Cash Flow Management
• Proven experience developing and managing new Frameworks, Processes and Procedures across a growing business to ensure rigorous Compliance with External and Internal Policies
