Head: Asset-backed Recoveries
Sandton
R1 200 000 per annum

POSITION INFO:
A senior leadership opportunity for an experienced recoveries and legal collections professional to take ownership of a high-volume, asset-backed recovery function within a complex, performance-driven environment.

Minimum requirements:

Degree in Commerce, Economics or Law (postgraduate advantageous)
Minimum 7 years’ experience, with at least 5 years in senior legal collections management
Strong commercial and strategic leadership skills
Experience in high-volume recoveries and legal environments
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive performance
Define and drive recovery strategies across portfolios
Oversee call centre collections and legal escalation decisions
Manage end-to-end legal recovery processes
Optimise asset recovery (movable and immovable)
Manage external attorney firms and performance
Drive ROI, cost-to-collect, and overall recovery performance
Ensure strong governance, compliance, and stakeholder alignment
