JOB SUMMARY:
HEAD: COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS - MANUFACTURING

  • 5 – 10 years Payroll experience at senior level
  • 2 – 5 years Managerial/Supervisory experience



JOB DESCRIPTION:

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
  • Ensure the timeous payment of employees, in line with company policies and procedures, by managing payroll input, maintaining records and reporting
  • Responsible for all rewards, benefits and recognition of employees
  • Development, implementation and monitoring of compensation and benefits policies, systems and procedures
  • Leading the Compensation and Benefits Administrators and Officers
  • Informing and training employees on changes in policies
  • Ensure benchmarking is done to ensure market related salaries are paid
  • Ensure current systems are utilized effectively and in line with business requirement

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES
  • 5 – 10 years Payroll experience at senior level
  • 2 – 5 years Managerial/Supervisory experience
  • Payroll Management – must have previous wages experience
  • Working knowledge of BCEA, PAYE, POPI and South African Tax legislation
  • Talent Acquisition Management Experience
  • HR generalist experience would be advantageous
  • Strong Accounting background – ability to do reconciliations
  • Management experience
  • Must have working knowledge of SAGE payroll and a Time and Attendance System
  • Salary benchmarking experience
  • In depth knowledge of Payroll calculations
  • Experience in Compensation & Benefits Management
