JOB SUMMARY:
HEAD: COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS - MANUFACTURING

5 – 10 years Payroll experience at senior level
2 – 5 years Managerial/Supervisory experience

JOB DESCRIPTION:

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Ensure the timeous payment of employees, in line with company policies and procedures, by managing payroll input, maintaining records and reporting
Responsible for all rewards, benefits and recognition of employees
Development, implementation and monitoring of compensation and benefits policies, systems and procedures
Leading the Compensation and Benefits Administrators and Officers
Informing and training employees on changes in policies
Ensure benchmarking is done to ensure market related salaries are paid
Ensure current systems are utilized effectively and in line with business requirement

Ad hoc duties: Manage expenses within budget, Quality Management System file to be updated and continuously maintained. Ad hoc projects as and when require

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES

5 – 10 years Payroll experience at senior level
2 – 5 years Managerial/Supervisory experience
Payroll Management – must have previous wages experience
Working knowledge of BCEA, PAYE, POPI and South African Tax legislation
Talent Acquisition Management Experience
HR generalist experience would be advantageous
Strong Accounting background – ability to do reconciliations
Management experience
Must have working knowledge of SAGE payroll and a Time and Attendance System
Salary benchmarking experience
In depth knowledge of Payroll calculations
Experience in Compensation & Benefits Management
