SUMMARY:
Our Client is a fibre network operator that builds, owns and operates an open-access network specializing in fibre to the home. They partner with Internet Service Providers to bring high-speed, world-class broadband connectivity into the home are looking for a Head Of Legal & Regulatory.

POSITION INFO:

The Head of Legal and Regulatory is:

required to provide legal expertise and support to the Client which

includes responsibility for all legal and legal-related matters as

well as regulatory compliance and company secretarial

matters.

required to provide advice, instructions, and assistance to

management regarding all legal matters, government

regulations and legislation relating to the Client’s business. 

tasked with analyzing and identifying the legal risks and

implications of all of the business’s transactions, keeping the

senior management in all departments of the business

informed of developments in laws and regulations that

potentially affect the business.

required to take a leading interest in the management of the

business resources and budget allocation for the Client’s legal

activities. 

required to contribute to the Client’s strategy and decision-making

processes alongside other departmental leaders as a member

of the executive committee (EXCO). Takes responsibility of

ensuring that all allegations of legal misconduct are reported in

a timely manner to EXCO in an attempt to maintain the integrity

within the business.
