SUMMARY:
Reporting to the CEO, you will operate as the HR business partner to the Senior Management Team, and other stakeholders. Seeking a strong leader, confident in contributing at a Senior Level in organization. Accustomed to influencing diverse range of stakeholders in geographically spread, multi-site business.

POSITION INFO:

Reporting to the CEO, you will operate as the HR business partner to the Senior Management Team, and all other stakeholders across the business.

To be successful in this exciting role, you must have gained experience in driving change throughout an organization. We are seeking a strong leader who is confident in contributing at a Senior Level in the organization and accustomed to influencing a diverse range of stakeholders in a geographically spread, multi-site business.

  •  Partnering with managers to provide coaching and advice, create and implement HR goal and objective which support business priorities
  • Developing employee engagement initiatives to make the organization a great place to work for all employees
  • You will be responsible for HR related local governance and compliance (including EE Plans) across all businesses
  • The role will encompass the full employee lifecycle, however, will pay close attention to talent both from an acquisition/onboarding perspective and development
  • Whilst strategy is key, it will be important to drive and steer business interactions with HR and operations to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
  • You will work closely with the Group Training Officer to develop and implement training initiatives that will drive and maintain a high-performance culture
  • You will be responsible for HR related elements of the BEE scorecard

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for creating and overseeing the delivery of the people strategy in line with the business goals where you will mentor, coach and develop senior management to ensure that everyone is included in the journey. 

  •  Ensure a continuous robust pipeline at Process, Support, and Management level
  • Develop, implement, and manage an effective knowledge management system
  • Create an environment for a knowledge-based work environment.
  • Through new pipeline feeder initiatives, embed and entrench a skills and knowledge transfer environment
  • Create synergies and systems to enable cross-training and multi-skilling
  • Manage performance appraisals through KPI’s for all employees
  • Identify and develop successors for key roles through a people risk assessment profile
  • Develop and equip critical skills to support expansion programmes

 

THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE REQUIRED

  •  Proven organizational development and advising skills to serve as a trusted partner to the business.
  • Solid team experience with the ability to inspire and willing to lead change through the Company.
  • Experience of working in a complex, dynamic and constantly changing environment with a high focus on collaboration.
  • An advanced degree in business or HR
