Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Builds and maintains effective relationships with managers and external customers
  • Deploy initiatives to increase employee satisfaction, performance, retention and effective communication at all levels
  • Provide HR input to new business and renewals and develop HR plan for implementation
  • Drive the ER agenda and lead / support relationships and key processes with social partners
  • Manage the people impacts of organizational change projects aligned to the business strategy e.g. site openings / closures, restructures etc
  • Deploy local HR strategy
  • Ensure delivery of annual performance and salary review process for the area in scope, aligned to group-wide processes and timelines
  • Through data & trends analysis, identify HR solutions to add value to the local business and customer agendas
  • Support managers to develop and deliver solutions for workforce planning and management including organization design, forecasting resourcing needs and identifying future talent requirements
  • Act as a coach to managers to increase management capability and compliance with policies
  • Support effective delivery of HR technology
Responsibilities:

  • Business area management on HR needs / issues and interventions

Stakeholder:


  • Participate in the business leadership team to develop the strategic business plan
  • Coach and develop leaders and managers on leadership skills and to deliver people management capabilities
  • Scan and understand the business’ markets, environment and needs, share insight with other HR roles and implement solutions to drive continuous improvement
  • Partner and bring in resources from the Centers of Excellence to implement HR solutions that meet the distinctive business challenges and needs
  • Work with HR Operations to use workforce data and apply analytical skills to formulate people insights and recommendations
  • Provide people and workforce related advice, strategies, and solutions related to workforce planning, recruitment, learning and development, performance management, compensation and succession planning
  • Manage data, ensure data quality and deliver HR processes along the HR life cycle (e.g. bonus and merit review, Talent Management, Development Reviews)
  • Build and maintain relationship with customers and identify services / solutions to drive continuous improvement
  • Drive a culture of employee engagement, ensuring Employee Opinion Survey follow-up continually improves the employee experience
  • Manage Union and Works Council activity including pay negotiations
Process:

  • Experienced HR professional, able to resolve most issues independently
  • Act as a business partner / consultant providing advice in different HR disciplines to colleagues, line managers and employees at local level
  • Handle broad range of HR work, sometimes complex and non-routine requiring background research e.g. legal advice, analyzing data trends
  • Support managers with hiring process, contracts and onboarding new employees
  • Support managers prepare for Employee Development Reviews, preparation talks and performance calibration meetings in line with agreed principles and processes
  • Drive and support employee career development to ensure retention of key potential
  • Support change initiatives and acts as change agent
  • Acts as role model and advocate of organizational culture and values
  • Keep up-to-date with latest development in HR industry and labor legislation
  • Ensure awareness and compliance with company policies and procedures and respective legal requirements and regulations
  • Provide expert advice, guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations issues
  • Support with BCA / tender input in relation to start up implementation
  • Develop site start up and closure HR plans and ensure legal compliance
People Management:

  • Coach and mentor business partners and HR colleagues
Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience in various Human Resources-related areas
  • Exposure across all key aspects of HR processes including Talent, C&B, ER/IR etc
  • Business understanding
  • Proven experience of building & maintaining relationships
  • Proven experience of delivery of organisational change projects
