A Sports Union is seeking a HR Advisor in the Human Resources Department based in Cape Town for a 3 month contract opportunity.

• Educational Background

3 year Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management (HR Diploma, HR Degree or Degree in Social Science)

• Experience (years and nature)

At least 5 to 8 years’ experience as an HR Generalist/HR Manager

Skills Development facilitator (Desirable)

Key important functions and competencies required:

• Candidate will ensure submission of BBB-EE, WSP and Employment Equity reports are completed and submitted timeously
• Recruitment and selection
• Review monthly payroll input to ensure that there are no errors on transactions processed
• In consultation with line managers, follow up individual development needs and source external training provision as and when required
• Manage, coordinate and facilitate training and liaise with SETA
• Provide in-house and or individual training to staff when required on payroll, performance management, procedures and policies

Must be able to start on 1 October 2022
