SUMMARY:
Our client is a well-established consulting engineering firm providing innovative multidisciplinary engineering solutions across the commercial, retail, industrial, healthcare, education, and residential sectors. They are looking for a driven HR Generalist to join their team in Cape Town.
POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities: Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training and development, retention, and offboarding. Ensure HR compliance with South African labour legislation, Employment Equity (EE), Skills Development, and B-BBEE requirements. Assist with annual HR reporting, audits, and accurate employee record management. Support the HR Director with HR projects, strategic initiatives, and continuous improvement activities. Build strong relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders to promote employee engagement and a positive workplace culture. Requirements: Relevant Human Resources qualification. 7-10 years' experience as an HR Generalist managing the full HR function. Sound knowledge of South African labour legislation, Employment Equity (EE), Skills Development, and B-BBEE. Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with PaySpace payroll software is advantageous.
