HR MANAGER WETTON, SOUTHERN SUBURBS R30 000 CTC

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements:

  •  Minimum Grade 12 Diploma / Certificate in Human Resources
  • 3 years working experience using ACCSYS
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in human resource management
  •  Development of job profiles and specifications. 
  • Delivering on recruitment requirements for the Company, ensuring that the standard procedure is adhered to. 
  • Ensuring all new employees are scheduled for induction and all contracts are in place. 
  • Conduct exit interviews and give feedback to Director and management.
  • Assisting management with succession planning and development initiatives
  • Providing advice to line management on issues pertaining to the employment relationship.
  • Rolling out HR initiatives as required. - Providing advice to all staff on all issues.
  • Manage the entire payroll function from start to end
  • Process monthly payroll information for all 4 payrolls
  • Calculate, reconcile and deposit payments for PAYE, ETI, UIF and SDL - Extract payroll reports 
  • Compile monthly payroll journal for submission to Accountant 
  • Analyze salary structures and advise accordingly upon appointment of individuals
  • Advise and assist top management with annual increases and bonus payments
  • Monthly reconciliation and submission of provident fund payments
  • Ensure all employees fully understand the benefits
  • Industrial and Employee Relations
  • Advising on, and implementing disciplinary processes as required and in accordance with the law.
  • Assist management with all counselling sessions held with staff. 
  • Advising and assisting in implementing action to reduce unnecessary absenteeism and disciplinary action. 
  • Representing the company at the CCMA.
  • Compliance with the Employment Equity Act and the company’s Employment Equity Plan.
  • All recruitment and selection to be in line with the Employment Equity Act, Plan and in line with the goals and targets.
  • Ensure that the Employment Equity Forum is functional, equally represented by the Company and that the content to be discussed is planned and implemented. 
  • Training - Ensure that the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR) are submitted timeously. 
  • Recommend, schedule and organize training for all staff.
  • Performance Management - Creating and implementing the entire performance management system in conjunction with the Director and Top Management. - Advising and ensuring implementation of the performance management system on a quarterly basis.
  • Advise and assist management with their quarterly performance reviews. • Personnel administration
  • Complete sign-on documentation - Facilitate, advise and approve loan applications - Facilitate disability retirements and death claims - Injury on Duty - Facilitate retirements - Monitor payroll - Manage queries - Health and safety administration
