POSITION INFO:

Qualifications & experience required:

Diploma in Human Resources Management
5 + years experience gained within the Construction Industry

Duties:

Provide HR related support to all employees
Performs administrative tasks for key functions
Investigate industrial relations complaints
Administer, co-ordinate, and manage the disciplinary process
Management of grievance procedure
Ensure adherences to all labour relations legislation
Manage union queries
Manage employees’ queries
Employee engagements and consultations
Management of union meetings
CCMA representation
Manage poor work performance
Manage incapacity and claims
Place adverts for vacant positions
Source diverse candidates
Screen applicants
Manage the interview process
Conduct reference checks on all possible employees
Manage pre-employment testing
Communicate with successful candidates
Promote employment equity through equitable recruitment processes
Manage transformation committee statutory requirements
Assist employees with counselling
Manage employee wellness
Arrange year end, team building and office functions/parties
Attend Transformation committee meetings
Attend external HR Forum Meetings
