HR Manager

We have an exciting position available for a Human Resources Manager in the Roodepoort area to lead and direct the functions of the HR
department in maintaining and improving the people-asset of the organisation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
• Three to Five years generic HR experience
• Multilingual skills are preferred
• Profound level of skills in Microsoft Office
• Excellent organisation, interpersonal, and coaching skills
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information discreetly and professionally
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with people comfortably and effectively at all levels in an organisation, and excellent listening skills
• Ability to work independently with limited support, using independent judgement and discretion
• Working knowledge of human resources information systems (HRIS)

Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Provide strategic direction by developing and implementing an HR Strategy aligned with theoverall Business Strategy
• Managing the staffing process including recruitment, selection appointment and on boarding
• Ensure that job profiles are in place and up to date for all positions
• Ensure the effective application of performance management processes
• Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution
• Ensure the effective application of the Disciplinary and Grievance procedures to ensure a healthy employee relations climate
• Coach line managers in the fair and consistent application of policies and procedures and discuss, advise, and train employees on it
• Report to management and provide decision support through HR Metrics
• Ensure compliance with all labour legislation.
