JOB DESCRIPTION:

We have an exciting position available for a Human Resources Manager in the Roodepoort area to lead and direct the functions of the HR
department in maintaining and improving the people-asset of the organisation.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
Three to Five years generic HR experience
Multilingual skills are preferred
Profound level of skills in Microsoft Office
Excellent organisation, interpersonal, and coaching skills
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information discreetly and professionally
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with people comfortably and effectively at all levels in an organisation, and excellent listening skills
Ability to work independently with limited support, using independent judgement and discretion
Working knowledge of human resources information systems (HRIS)

Responsibilities (not limited to):

Provide strategic direction by developing and implementing an HR Strategy aligned with theoverall Business Strategy
Managing the staffing process including recruitment, selection appointment and on boarding
Ensure that job profiles are in place and up to date for all positions
Ensure the effective application of performance management processes
Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution
Ensure the effective application of the Disciplinary and Grievance procedures to ensure a healthy employee relations climate
Coach line managers in the fair and consistent application of policies and procedures and discuss, advise, and train employees on it
Report to management and provide decision support through HR Metrics
Ensure compliance with all labour legislation.
