HR Officer - Woodstock, Cape Town

My client a leading Retail Group wants to reward suitably qualified and experienced HR Officer with an exciting career opportunity. The position is based in Woodstock, Cape Town

My client is seeking a suitably qualified Human Resource Officer to support in all Human Resources Operations and ensure alignment to the organisational business goals.

Ideal candidates would have solid experience within HR and Employee Management.

They will communicate and drive the HR agenda with the relevant department managers.

The role will report to the Senior Human Resource Manager.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate the recruitment and selection process within the unit in conjunction with the relevant line managers.

Support and facilitation of all facets of industrial relations, inclusive of scheduling disciplinary enquiries, and grievances.

Support and facilitation of the performance management process within the unit, inclusive of probation, performance appraisals and poor work performance counselling.

Represent the company at the CCMA.

Review HR Metrics and information and metric analysis

Act as point of contact for employees and managers

Provide HR Policy guidance and support.

Work closely with department managers and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity as well as staff retention.

Manage Talent portfolio in terms of succession, talent review and talent management for key job positions.

Facilitate people related issues with the relevant management stakeholders for solutioning.

Generate all required HR administration within deadlines.

Key Requirements:

Human Resources Degree/ Diploma

Valid Driver’s License

A minimum of 3-5 years in a Human Resource generalist role

Must be proficient in Excel

Must have experience in Occupational Health and safety

SA Citizens only

Must be Criminal Clear

Must reside in the Greater Cape Town area
