POSITION INFO:

Job title: HR officer

Location: On-site at Mine (North-west province , 30 mins from Sun city, 60 mins from Rustenburg)

Vacancy type: Full-time

Salary: Market-related, depending on experience and qualifications.

Duties:

• Manage end-to-end HR processes: recruitment, onboarding, and terminations
• Administer payroll inputs, benefits, and employee records
• Draft and maintain employment contracts and HR documentation
• Manage employee files, leave, and attendance registers
• Support performance management, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures
• Ensure compliance with South African labour laws (BCEA, LRA, EE)
• Handle HR administration, employee relations, and liaise with the community when required
• Assist with training coordination and skills development initiatives
• Oversee HR-related resource management within the mine

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or Industrial Relations
• 2–5 years’ HR generalist experience (mining or heavy industry preferred)
• Knowledge of BCEA, LRA, EE, and Skills Development legislation
• Proficient in MS Office and Sage Pastel Payroll
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
