POSITION INFO:

HVAC ASSISTANT (JUNIOR) /EAST LONDON – Our client is looking to employ a HVAC Assistant to support their technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate should be physically fit, eager to learn, and able to work in various environments.

Requirements:

Matric or equivalent (Grade 12 preferred).

Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical systems is a plus.

Physically able to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.

Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

Valid code 08 license required

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in installing and servicing HVAC units and components.

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, lubricating motors, and replacing worn parts

Carry tools and materials to job sites and assist with setup.

Assist in the installation of new HVAC equipment and systems

Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

Communicate effectively with team members and clients

Keep work area clean and organized

Attend training and development programs as required

Salary – estimated salary +- R5,500
