A prestigious client in the fine dining sector, based in Paulshof, Sandton, is seeking an exceptional head chef to join the team.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of a high-end, fine dining kitchen
• Conceptualise and execute sophisticated, seasonal menus with impeccable presentation
• Uphold the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and service
• Train, mentor, and inspire a skilled kitchen brigade
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
• Oversee stock control, supplier relationships, and cost management
• Drive creativity while maintaining the restaurant’s culinary identity.

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef within a fine dining environment
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage high-performance teams
• Exceptional attention to detail and plating standards
• In-depth knowledge of modern culinary techniques and trends
• Ability to perform under pressure in a high-expectation setting
• Relevant culinary qualification (advantageous)
