Trendy upmarket Restaurant in the Randpark Ridge area has a senior kitchen manager / Head Chef position open. Looking for individuals with 7+ years relevant senior chef experience and a formal cooking/culinary arts qualification. Looking for a foodie, someone with a passion for food and someone with knowledge of modern food trends. Must have experience in an a la carte Restaurant environment. Must be able to coordinate and manage a complete kitchen operation. Main duties will include food preparation, food quality control and general kitchen management. Looking for someone who is passionate, hardworking and able to work under pressure. Looking for an outgoing personality with a passion for food. Applicants must be strong in managing and training a kitchen brigade. Experience in menu planning, food paring essential. Strong stock management and cost control skills required.
