Our client in the Public Sector has an EE opportunity available for a Head: Finance Insurance in the Centurion area.

Requirements:

• Honours BCom Accounting and CTA
• CA (SA)
• SAICA registration
• 7 – 10 years Senior Financial Management experience
• 3 – 5 years Senior Management Experience
• 5 – 7 years Experienced in Insurance Accounting, Regulations and Regulatory Reporting
• Financial and Capital Markets 
• IFRS 
• Short Term , Long term insurance Act & Insurance Act 
• Companies Act and Kind Codes – Financial Reporting 
• ORSA Exposure
• Solvency Assessment Management (SAM) 
• Insurance Legislation and Regulations
• Extensive Travel

• Oversee the development and implementation of the Company''s financial strategy to ensure that the company reaches its financial targets
• Provides input into company, vision, direction and strategy in terms of commercial and regulatory environment
• Contribute towards the delivery of company financial targets in respect of revenue as part of executive team
• Develop and recommend to the Board of directors the business plans, operational requirements, organisational structure, staffing and budgets that support Financial, Commercial and operations Treasury
• Management of Financial Enterprise-Wide Risk and Financial Governance requirements
• Provide monthly financial reports for consolidation to enable consolidation for Group reporting
• Provide interim and annual final financial statements to enable consolidation for Group reporting
• Ensure that the operations are run within financial parameters and that sufficient funds are generated to ensure long term viability of the organisation
• Manage Liquidity
• Engage, Grow and maintain significant stakeholder relationships and credibility and reputation

• Attend all Board and Board Committee meetings
