You will drive strategy for secured lending portfolios, optimise portfolio performance, and champion dataâdriven collections and recovery methodologies. With full oversight of analytics, risk, legal recoveries, and foreclosure processes, this role offers significant scope to modernise, innovate, and deliver measurable commercial impact.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Drive the strategic leadership of the Home Loans & Collections function, including portfolio strategy, impairments, and recovery optimisation.
Lead and develop specialist teams across quantitative analytics, collections, recoveries, and secured lending.
Oversee legal, compliance, regulatory, and foreclosure processes, ensuring governance excellence across the credit lifecycle.
Deliver dataâdriven insights to improve collections efficiency, credit risk performance, and portfolio profitability.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:

Degree in Business Commerce, Finance & Accounting, Mathematical Sciences, Risk Management, or Quantitative Studies
Certified Risk Manager (CRM) qualification required

Experience:

10–15 years’ experience heading a Home Loans or VAF portfolio
Strong Retail Banking experience (secured lending preferred; unsecured acceptable)
Track record designing collections and recovery strategies at scale
Experienced in Quantitative Analytics with proven leadership of specialist analytics teams
Full understanding of credit risk management, portfolio analysis, collections & recoveries
Legal, regulatory, and compliance experience in supervising foreclosure processes

Skills / Technical:

Strong financial acumen and credit analytics capability
Risk reporting & risk management expertise
Data quality, data compliance, and governance knowledge
Financial & accounting control
Quantitative Analysis
Strong leadership, decisionâmaking, and strategic execution capability
