SUMMARY:
Head of Infrastructure

POSITION INFO:

Purpose:

To take full responsibility for the line management and operations of the Infrastructur team in leading the origination of Infrastructure transactions across South Africa and other key markets across Africa in order to maximize sustainable revenue streams through innovative specialised debt financing transactions.

Responsibilities:

Origination and execution of pipeline transactions, developing strong client relationships and effectively managing the existing asset portfolio. 

The appropriate candidate needs to a have strong quantitative analytical background and be proficient with banking systems and the regulatory compliance environment.     

Improve deal origination and lead strategic initiatives to grow the business and provide multidisciplinary solutions to clients, and refine and enhance coverage across the sectors.

Leverage the Collaboration Model through interdivisional co-ordination, cross selling, idea generation/innovation.

Key requirements

Relevant professional qualification: Bachelor of Commerce + Post Graduate Qualification / CA (SA) / CFA / BCommLaw  or BSc Engineering degree

Minimum 10 years of experience in the South African and rest of Africa Project Finance environment with a proven track record of originating and excecuting big ticket project finance transactions across a diverse range of projects in the infrastructure and / or industrial sectors.
