Head Nurse

SUMMARY:
Our client based in United Arab Emirates is looking for a Head Nurse to oversee patients and manage the nursing staff

POSITION INFO:

Qualification

• 5 years work experience as a nursing supervisor
• In-depth knowledge of nursing homes, diabetic patients
• Thorough knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare
• Great communication and people skills
• BSc or diploma in nursing; training in healthcare administration is a plus or relevant qualifications
• Valid nursing license
•  

Responsibilities

• Schedule nurses’ shifts
• Ensure nursing operational standards are met
• Provide reports on patient’s progress
• Ensure all nurses follow policies and procedures
• Inform family members about medical procedures and doctors’ instructions
• Handle complaints or other issues
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing psychological support to patients, family and friends
• Keep records of nurses’ files, patients’ cases and procedures
