SUMMARY:
Our client based in United Arab Emirates is looking for a Head Nurse to oversee patients and manage the nursing staff

POSITION INFO:

Qualification

5 years work experience as a nursing supervisor
In-depth knowledge of nursing homes, diabetic patients
Thorough knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare
Great communication and people skills
BSc or diploma in nursing; training in healthcare administration is a plus or relevant qualifications
Valid nursing license

Responsibilities

Schedule nurses’ shifts
Ensure nursing operational standards are met
Provide reports on patient’s progress
Ensure all nurses follow policies and procedures
Inform family members about medical procedures and doctors’ instructions
Handle complaints or other issues
Establish a compassionate environment by providing psychological support to patients, family and friends
Keep records of nurses’ files, patients’ cases and procedures
