  The Role:

  Essential function:

  • Ultimate responsible for all PMO functions within the Infrastructure Services Solutions Team, including skill, capacity and resource planning for all projects within Infrastructure Services
  • Maintain and Improve the Project Governance and Assurance processes through the definition of appropriate stage gates, criteria, etc. 
  • Integrated planning and project delivery 
  • Plan and Manage all Project Management Resources. 
  • Execute the Stage Gate process. 
  • Develop Project Management Standards and coach project managers in the use thereof. 
  • Develop Quality Assurance and Testing Methodologies.
  • Develop Solution Implementation methodologies (including template artifacts), focusing especially in the Infrastructure Services industry 
  • Take accountability for Solution Quality Assurance by conducting reviews / audits.
  • For small implementations, create necessary frameworks to ensure quality and service testing and contracting.
  • Perform function of Programme Manager for large implementations overseeing multiple project and build necessary integration points for reporting 
  • Responsible for all budgeting of business as well as management of project budgets 
  • Implement Portfolio Status Reporting
  Skills and Experience:

  Essential Qualification:

  • Bachelorâ??s degree or equivalent qualification (NQF level 7)
  • Up to date PRINCE and PMBOK Certification

  Preferred Qualification:

  • Post graduate qualification (NQF level 8) in Project management

  Experience required:

  • 8-10 Years of Experience at Senior Management level
  • Broad Knowledge understanding of ICT environment
  • Knowledge of information management and practices, monitoring, evaluation and research methodologies.
