POSITION INFO:
A leading and well-established organization operating in Tanzania is seeking to appoint a Head of Business as part of a confidential executive search.

This senior leadership role will be responsible for setting strategic direction, driving commercial performance, and overseeing overall business operations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in leading growth, strengthening governance, and delivering sustainable results.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and overall direction for the business
Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion
Oversee business operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and strong governance
Lead, mentor, and develop senior management and high-performing teams
Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and regulators
Identify new opportunities while managing operational and commercial risk

Key Requirements

Proven experience in a senior leadership role (Head of Business, Country Manager, General Manager, or similar)
Strong commercial and strategic acumen with a track record of driving growth
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Strong understanding of the Tanzanian business environment
Results-driven, hands-on, and strategically minded
High levels of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
