An exciting opportunity has become available for a strategic and commercially-minded senior marketing leader to join a global FMCG organisation known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and customer excellence.

This role will lead the category, shopper, and customer marketing strategy, aligning cross-functional teams to drive profitable growth, optimize trade investment, and enhance in-store execution across key channels. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with strong analytical skills, deep FMCG experience, and a passion for customer insight-led decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute the integrated Category, Customer, and Revenue Growth Management (RGM) strategy.

• Align cross-functional stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain) around key commercial priorities.

• Translate brand and business strategies into trade and shopper-focused execution plans.

Customer & Category Development

• Lead strategic category growth plans using shopper, market, and consumer insights.

• Partner with key retailers to shape assortment, shelving, and merchandising strategies.

• Drive internal growth dialogues and support joint business planning processes.

Revenue Growth Management (RGM)

• Oversee pricing architecture, promotional effectiveness, pack/price mix, and customer profitability.

• Lead post-evaluation and ROI tracking of trade activities.

• Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance in collaboration with Finance and Sales.

Team & Budget Leadership

• Lead a high-performing team across category, shopper, and trade marketing functions.

• Manage the customer marketing and trade investment budget with a focus on effectiveness and ROI.

• Build a performance-driven, data-led, and collaborative team culture.

Insights & Innovation

• Champion the use of analytics and insights to unlock new growth opportunities.

• Monitor channel trends and competitive activity to shape future trade initiatives.

Requirements

• Strategic mindset with strong commercial acumen and leadership capabilities.

• Extensive experience in Trade Marketing, Category Management, or Revenue Growth Management.

• Strong analytical ability and familiarity with tools such as Nielsen, Circana, or Power BI.

• Proven track record of delivering growth through cross-functional collaboration and customer engagement.

• High resilience, change agility, and the ability to lead in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement, presentation, and conflict management skills.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or related field.

• 6–8+ years of senior-level experience in FMCG, Retail, or Consumer Goods sectors.

• Demonstrated success in leading teams and driving revenue optimization across channels.
