POSITION INFO:

Our team is seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Clinical Risk & Infection Prevention to lead hospital-wide infection control, clinical governance, and risk management initiatives.

This executive-level role offers the opportunity to shape clinical compliance strategy within a reputable private hospital environment committed to patient safety and operational excellence.

Key Focus Areas

• Lead and manage the hospital’s Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) programme

• Drive clinical risk management, compliance, and regulatory alignment

• Oversee infection surveillance, audits, and trend reporting

• Manage outbreak response and containment strategies

• Ensure compliance with Department of Health standards and SANC regulations

• Lead training and multidisciplinary collaboration across nursing, theatre, and CSSD

Minimum Requirements

• Registered Nurse with active SANC registration

• Post-basic qualification in Infection Prevention & Control

• Minimum 3–5 years’ IPC experience within a private hospital

• Strong leadership, audit, reporting, and governance capability

• BLS / ACLS certification
