MAIN PURPOSE

Effectively plan, direct and coordinate the ProServ Delivery Business Unit in a responsible, sustainable and profitable manner

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY

OPERATIONAL EXECUTION

  • Develop and implement a ProServ Projects Business Plan.
  • Ensure that all the ProServ Projects Policies and Processes are implemented and reviewed annually.
  • Structure ProServ Projects to effectively and efficiently deliver services to clients.
  • Make recommendations to the General Manager on possible appointment and termination of resources within ProServ Projects.
    • Ensure that the level of performance of all the ProServ Projects resources complies with the ProServ Projects standards.
  • Ensure that all ProServ Projects personnel have and understand their Confirmation of Assignments.
  • Ensure that all ProServ Projects personnel are competent to deliver their responsibilities as described in their Confirmation of Assignments.
  • Provide cross-skilling sessions to share project management knowledge and lessons learned as required.

CLIENT RELATIONSHIP

  • Ensure that the Client Relationship is sound
  • Responsible for building, maintaining and managing effective and sustainable relationships with all currently assigned and potential clientele.
  • Ensure that clients receive excellent products and services to satisfy their needs.
  • Oversee the accounts of clients, continuous communication with clients and respond to resolve any customer complaints.
  • Meet with key customers and the project teams on at least a quarterly basis to ensure any issues are resolved and that the client’s projects are healthy.

PROPOSAL AND CONTRACT MANAGEMENT

  • Draft proposals in consultation as required.
  • Ensure that all approved proposals are converted to contracts with the clients and that these approved proposals are set up as projects on Fusion.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

  • Lead, manage, mentor and coach each of the direct subordinates that report to you.
  • Ensure appropriate delegation of duties
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of staff
  • Day to day management of ProServ Projects
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Identify training needs
  • Ensure performance appraisals are done
  • Manage employee relations
  • Manage annual leave planning for ProServ Projects

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

  • Participate in the budgeting process
  • Manage and effectively spend the ProServ Project Delivery Budget.
