JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a dynamic individual for the position as Head of Digital to join their head office based in Park Town - Gauteng

Main Purpose of Job:

Head of Digital Marketing is generally responsible for planning, developing, implementing and managing the overall digital marketing strategy. In addition, they are responsible for managing, guiding and training digital marketers and other positions in the team.

As a Head of Digital at the company you will be responsible for setting up, implementing and managing the overall digital marketing department and the digital marketing strategy.

We are expecting you to have experience and a huge passion for digital technologies and utilizing different digital marketing channels.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:

5 years of experience as a Head of Digital Marketing
10 years of experience in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies
5-10 years of hands-on experience with SEO, Google Analytics and social media analytics tools and resources

Skills / Physical Competencies:

In depth knowledge of SEM and social media digital marketing channels
Good knowledge and experience with online marketing tools and best practices
Basic knowledge of web design procedures
Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company success
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Team player
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills

Key Performance Areas (Core, essential responsibilities –outputs of the position)

Build, plan and implement the overall digital marketing strategy
Manage the strategy
Collaborate with the broader marketing team to align communication strategies and tactics.
Develop, lead and manage the digital marketing team
Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices
Manage and oversee different digital marketing channels
Measure ROI and KPIs
Prepare and manage digital marketing budget
Oversee all the company's social media accounts
Measure and manage online content
Analyze SEO, Google Analytics and social media analytics to provide data enriched recommendations to drive brand strategies and maximise ROI
Develop attribution models to support future campaign decisions
Research competition, investigate benchmarks and provide suggestions for improvement
