POSITION INFO:
A renowned leader in the pharmaceutical and healthcare space is seeking a qualified Regional Head of Finance (CA(SA)) to lead and elevate their financial operations across key African markets. This role is central to driving strategic growth, ensuring compliance, and enabling commercial success in a highly regulated and purpose-driven environment. The organisation is known for its dedication to healthcare innovation, ethical practices, and improving lives through sustainable access to medicine.

As the Regional Head of Finance, you will report directly to the Group CFO and collaborate with both local and global stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include full oversight of regional financial performance, leading budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring IFRS compliance. You will also manage finance teams across multiple territories, driving operational excellence and contributing to the company’s long-term goals.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Qualified Chartered Accountant – CA(SA) (non-negotiable).
Minimum 10 years of financial experience, with at least 5 years in a regional or senior leadership role.
Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences sector.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and regulatory frameworks across African markets.
Proven success in leading finance teams in multi-country environments.
Strategic mindset with excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
